
Lucious BBQ Tandoori Lamb Chops or Chicken

Ingredients

8 Lamb Chops or Chicken pieces (chicken thighs on the bone work well)

3/4 cup Greek yogurt

1/4 cup cream (or just add extra yogurt)

3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

One 3-inch piece of fresh ginger, grated (use cheese grater)

4 large garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon malt vinegar

1 tablespoon garam masala
-
1 tablespoon ground cumin
-
1 tablespoon paprika
-
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg

Salt
-
Black pepper
How to cook

Cut a few 1/4-inch-deep slashes in each lamb chop (dont need to do this for chicken)

In a large bowl, whisk the yogurt with the cream, lemon juice, ginger, garlic, malt vinegar, garam masala, cumin, paprika, cayenne, nutmeg and 1 teaspoon of salt.

Cover the meat with the marinade, cover and refrigerate overnight.

Light a grill (BBQ) or put an oven n at 200 oC.

Cook for 10 minutes each side (or until brown on one side) until well browned.
