Yorkshire Pud

Ingredients

  • 200 ml milk

  • 200 ml plain flour

  • 4 eggs

  • pinch of salt

  • pinch of english mustard powder

  • sunflour oil

How to cook

  • ​Add flour to a bowl​​

  • Beat in eggs until smooth

  • Gradually add milk and continue to beat until lump-free

  • Add salt and pepper and mustard powder

  • refrigerate for 20 min

  • Oven at 210 oC

  • Put oil into the bottom of muffin or baking tin

  • Place tin in oven to heat through

  • Take tin out of oven and quickly add the batter (should sizzle)

  • Put in oven for 20 - 25 mins or until brown (don't open the oven door!)
