Beef and ale Stew (Slowcooker)
Ingredients

3 bay leaves
-
500g stewing beef
-
500 ml Guiness/Stout
-
4 celery sticks
-
2 medium onions
-
2 carrots
-
Olive oil
-
1 heaped tablespoon of flour
-
400g tin chopped tomatoes
-
Salt and black pepper
How to cook
-
Roughly chop celery and onions
-
Slice carrots lengthways and roughly chop
-
Put in slow cooker with 2 'glugs' of olive oil and fry for 10 min
-
add meat, flour, beer and toms
-
leave to cook for approx 6 hours or more
