Gingerbread House
How to cook
-
Melt the butter, in a pan and add the sugar and syrup

Mix flour, bicarbonate of soda and ginger in a separate bowl

Stir together to make a stiff dough
-
roll out dough to the thickness of 2 x £1 coins
-
cut out house template on greaseproof paper (see pdf link above for template)

Cut out 4 walls and roof from the gingerbread dough and place on greaseproof paper
-
Put coloured boiled sweets in the holes made for windows
-
Bake for 12 mins a 200 oC or until a little darker at the edges
-
When cooled, stick together with icing sugar and decorate
